What is the difference between a tube and a Nixie tube duende?
I recently bought on Ebay Nixie tubes, which are vacuum tubes with filaments numeric (0-9) that light up depending on the pin of the voltage is applied. It is basically a digital display of crude. My father knew that these tubes as elf, I wondered: Is there a difference between the two? If so, what is the difference?
Your dad misremembers. You have a Nixie tube. Pixie tube bears a plaque inscribed with the template icons in it, illuminated by means of electrodes behind them. They are the two gas discharge tubes however.
